Bread Machine 7-Grain Bread

This is my easiest bread machine bread. It's similar to my breakfast bread, but simpler, using Bob's Red Mill 7-Grain Cereal in place of the oats, beer, coffee powder, and peanut butter. I'll let you decide which you prefer.

Rick's Bread Machine 7-Grain Bread

½ c + 3 T + 2 t warm milk
2 T butter, softened
2 T dark molasses
½ c Bob's Red Mill 7-Grain Cereal*
(steeped in ½ c boiling water for 1 hour)
2½ c bread (or 2½ c whole wheat + 1 c bread) flour
1 t salt
1 T Chatfield's Premium or other unsweetened cocoa powder
2¼ t yeast (1 env.) (sprinkled over top)

*Add the boiling water to the cereal and let stand, stirring occasionally, for one hour

Add the ingredients to the bread machine in the order listed. Finish according to machine protocol.
